A six-day integration experience in nature exploring the foundations of breath, meditation, and consciousness work in Montezuma, Costa Rica.
A small private immersion exploring the foundations of breath, meditation, and integration in a quiet jungle setting above the Montezuma River.
This experience is designed for people who feel called to deepen their relationship with consciousness work — whether they are navigating a personal transition, integrating powerful inner experiences, or working as therapists and practitioners supporting others.
Rather than focusing only on the peak experience, this immersion teaches the foundations that allow insight to stabilize and integrate in everyday life.
Integration After Peak Experiences
Many powerful experiences — breathwork, meditation, plant medicine, or major life transitions — can open profound insight.
But the experience itself is rarely the difficult part.
The challenge is integration.
When awareness expands faster than the nervous system can stabilize it, people often feel:
heightened sensitivity
emotional intensity
disorientation or uncertainty about direction
difficulty translating insight into daily life
Peak experiences are becoming more common.
What is far more rare is learning how to stabilize and integrate those experiences.
This immersion focuses on that process.
Through structured breathwork, meditation training, and guided reflection, participants learn a simple but powerful arc of practice:
Breath — regulating and opening the nervous system
Meditation — stabilizing awareness and attention
Integration — translating insight into embodied clarity
Participants leave with both a personal experience of the work and a practical framework they can continue applying in their own lives or professional practice.
Who This Immersion Is For
This experience tends to resonate with:
therapists and facilitators exploring integration work
practitioners wanting to deepen meditation and breath practice
individuals integrating previous breathwork, meditation, or plant medicine experiences
those navigating a personal transition or inner opening
anyone seeking a quieter container for reflection and practice in nature
The intention is not simply to create a powerful experience.
It is to provide tools and understanding that remain useful long after the retreat ends.
The Experience
Each immersion lasts six days and five nights and is limited to a maximum of two participants.
This allows the container to remain personal, flexible, and responsive to what each participant is navigating.
The rhythm of the days is simple and spacious.
Morning
Somatic breathwork and nervous system regulation
Midday
Meditation training and integration dialogue
Afternoon
Time for rest, nature, river walks, or ocean visits
Evening
Optional guided practice or deeper conversation
Light movement or asana may be included, though the primary focus is breath and meditation.
One optional, deeper, experiential practice may be available depending on participant background and intention.
The Setting — Casa Nuna
The immersion takes place at Casa Nuna, a quiet jungle home overlooking the Montezuma River and waterfalls.
Surrounded by forest and the sound of running water, the space offers a simple and peaceful environment designed for reflection and practice.
The property includes:
two private bedrooms
shared kitchen and bathroom
balcony overlooking the jungle and river
access to a private waterfall and swimming area
a private yoga and meditation deck in the jungle
Participants often wake to the sound of birds and the river below, creating a natural rhythm for breath practice, meditation, and rest.
The setting is intentionally simple — allowing nature itself to support the integration process.

Testimonials
"The Clear Path has helped open a level of understanding I subconsciously knew was there, but had not yet consciously and somatically discovered.
Spending the week of retreat in Montezuma Costa Rica under the guidance of Joe was more than eye-opening; it was soul-supportive and revealed to me a deeper understanding of our interconnectedness with the universe.
It has opened up a new level of questioning on this journey of self-realization. His genuine interest and care for your growth are shown through his presence, his thoughtful answers to your questions, and his curated classes and program. The overall schedule was a great balance between practice, reflection, and exploration.
My intention for this retreat was to connect with my subconscious mind through feeling into my body in ways I hadn't before. I felt I cracked open that door and learned that this is just the beginning, but I was given support, vocabulary, and tools to help me in this journey during the retreat with Joe.
It was truly a shifting experience that I am grateful for and look forward to continuing to integrate with these new tools."
